    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">NCE</span></strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;is actively recruiting for an Environmental Project Manager with strong experience preparing and managing CEQA/NEPA documentation to join our Environmental Group. This flexible position will accommodate an office or hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Sacramento or Bay Area office locations.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">We are looking for a motivated, critical thinker to join our interdisciplinary team and lead clients and projects through complex regulatory and planning processes. The ideal candidate will excel working independently and within interdisciplinary teams made up of scientists, engineers, planners, project managers, and marketing professionals. The successful candidate will also be capable of managing numerous efforts/projects simultaneously and assisting in directing over environmental staff and assisting the efforts of other team members. NCE&rsquo;s clients include local and state agencies and select private organizations, and our project work ranges from parks and trails to complete streets to utilities infrastructure to infill development. Consider joining our team!</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications (Must Have):</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A Bachelor of Science or Arts in environmental, urban, or regional planning, natural resource science, environmental science, biology, or other related degree.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Working knowledge of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analysis, regulations, and documentation.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A minimum of six years of direct experience developing, managing, and delivering CEQA and/or NEPA documents including ensuring legal adequacy, clear readability, and top-quality deliverables.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Proven leadership and problem-solving skills in guiding teams through CEQA/NEPA processes.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience working with regulatory and planning agencies to move projects through environmental review efficiently.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications (Nice to Have):</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A master&rsquo;s degree in environmental, urban, or regional planning, natural resource science, environmental science, biology, or other related degree.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience in private consulting.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience executing stakeholder and community engagement.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Strong business development skills, including successfully selling environmental planning services while actively contributing to project execution.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) code of ordinances, environmental review process, and regulatory permitting.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience with 24 CRF Part 58 reviews.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience with transportation planning (specifically Caltrans planning processes) and/or land use planning.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Depending on level of experience, your role at NCE may include:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Engage on a variety of transportation, environmental, infrastructure, housing, and restoration projects with public (primarily local and state agencies) and private clients.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Manage and deliver environmental documents in compliance with CEQA, NEPA, and TRPA.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Function as a task or project manager in the delivery of projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Negotiate and communicate with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients and projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Engage with staff at all levels of the firm, including mentoring junior staff.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work with colleagues and NCE&rsquo;s business development professionals to market your skills and NCE&rsquo;s services to an active list of clients.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Support scope and fee development for environmental review tasks on larger integrated projects</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Salary Range is</strong>&nbsp;$90,000 to $135,000 annually, DOE.</span></p></div>\n",
