font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The HVAC Residential Installer<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span>assists in the assembly and installation of commercial HVAC systems in accordance with applicable HVAC codes.  The HVAC Installation Apprentice is also responsible for delivering high quality work and productivity, and is expected to go through the company-provided apprenticeship training program to become a skilled HVAC Journeyman.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Performs all work in a safe manner. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Abides by all safety and conduct policies laid out by Midwestern Mechanical and the different work sites.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Inspects equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Operates powered equipment including hand tools, stationary machines and others as required in a safe manner at all times.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Responds to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Overnight travel as necessary within the region for corporate meetings, on-site projects and conferences.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provides daily direction to assigned team(s) on the job site and actively participate in training and development of apprentices.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follows and executes directions and assigned duties from Manager.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintains a positive attitude to drive and build positive morale.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintains a high quality initiative while completing assigned duties.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works independently to achieve goals and deadlines that are assigned. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for all on-site documentation (checklists, safety signoff, service sheets, and other documentation that is relevant for the job completion).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attends all meetings associated with any given project as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works extra days as required for the project.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Job Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and with others to meet performance goals.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Competent, responsible, organized and team-oriented.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn.  Average computer skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Verbally communicate with management, city officials, on-site customers and other employees.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lawfully drive a motor vehicle and maintain a current driver’s license in order to commute to the various current or prospective job sites in the region.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Reliable transportation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to read and interpret written materials, architectural plans, drawings and mechanical designs.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Identify basic trade materials by size, shape and function.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follow orders and directions with minimal to no supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain an active state and city license in all city/states you perform work in.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Educational and Experience Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent required.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience in HVAC as a Technician Preferred. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Field experience in HVAC in residential applications preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">HVAC Service Technician work in residential, commercial, industrial and public settings in both indoor and outdoor job sites which include exposure to all elements of weather including cold, heat, wind, rain and snow.  The weather may also impact the site exposing the individual to water and mud. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This position also includes exposure to areas off of the ground requiring the team member to work in a safe manner.  The team member will also be exposed to loud noises where hearing protection is necessary and provided.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:  </span>The job’s functions require the following physical demands: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fine finger dexterity and hand &amp;
