however, applicants for the Shipping and Packing Specialist position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three or more years&rsquo; work experience in a shipping, logistics, inventory or similar role.</p><p><strong>Other key areas of responsibilities include:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Pack, prepare, and ship orders in accordance with company standards, shipping regulations and customer specification. &nbsp;</li><li>Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and promptly including reviewing the integrity of packaged contents prior to shipping.</li><li>Address and resolve any issues related to quality, contents, delays, or carrier errors.</li><li>Pro-actively coordinate with carriers and customers to consistently determine best method of shipment &ndash; reviewing cost, customer needs, efficiency, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Review and code shipping invoices and other shipping documents as necessary.</li><li>Problem-solve escalated shipping concerns from customer service, logistic partners, sales, or customers. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Complete and maintain trade compliance documents and required shipping paperwork. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Review, submit and track freight claims.</li><li>Maintain a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to cross-collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.</li><li>Overtime may be necessary to ensure shipments are processed and loaded on-time as required. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Other helpful skills and qualifications include:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity and knowledge of ISO9001 standards, Lean manufacturing, and Kanban initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Speak, read, and write English to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and/or instructions.</li><li>Wear appropriate PPE as required by Company and OSHA standards.</li><li>Demonstrate a positive work ethic and a sense of urgency in completing work assignments;
