    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This position is a 100% travel position and jobsites can range from OH, WV, PA, NC, VA. Perform support functions to facilitate the safe, efficient, high quality completion of Bi-Con Services construction projects. This position requires broad knowledge of industry requirements and best practices.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*Bi-Con Services employees working in safety-sensitive positions are drug and alcohol tested under the federal DOT regulations.Testing is conducted for pre-employment, on a random basis (according to the requirements of DOT), reasonable suspicion and post-accident (according to the requirements of DOT.) Under DOT regulations, marijuana, whether with a medical prescription or not, is considered an illegal substance.*</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote the company’s safety culture.</li>\n <li>3-5 years’ construction experience, preferably in a natural gas industry or related industries, preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of natural gas construction activities.</li>\n <li>Participate in daily huddles and safety meetings.</li>\n <li>Properly use, maintain and store all tools and material used in the course of work.</li>\n <li>Install threaded piping. Tasks include but are not limited to; retrieving material, installing pipe supports, obtaining field measurements and cutting and threading of pipe.</li>\n <li>Perform carpentry activities. Tasks include but are not limited to; retrieving material, measuring and cutting of material and installation of material.</li>\n <li>Assist welding crew with piping activities. Tasks include but are not limited to; retrieving material, handling of pipe, installing structural supports and moving and stacking of skids.</li>\n <li>Assist operators with excavation activities. Tasks include but are not limited to; layout, hand excavation, hand backfill, compaction, line locating and excavation spotting.</li>\n <li>Perform pipe coating activities. Tasks include but are not limited to; abrasive blasting, coating application and holiday detecting.</li>\n <li>Install threaded pipe and fittings and have the ability to read an interpret pipe isometric, and P&ID drawings.</li>\n <li>Installation of tubing and tube fittings per the design drawings.</li>\n <li>Perform flange make-up activities. Tasks include but are not limited to; retrieving material, preparing the flange faces and torqueing the flanges.</li>\n <li>Setup and perform hydrotesting and pressure testing of piping systems.</li>\n <li>Install and maintain erosion and sedimentation control devices.</li>\n <li>Install safety control measures such as safety fence.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned, to include general laborer duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess aerial lift, aerial work platform, rigging and signaling certifications.</li>\n <li>Effective communication and interaction skills with other trades and personnel on the projects.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable with and applies OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>This is a field position and requires 100% travel. </li>\n</ul>",
