May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions. The Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) role encompasses automation development and execution, functional, and non-functional testing. The SDET role specializes in the design, development, execution, and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. Partners with team members to understand software requirements and execute automated tests that validate the functionality while considering privacy and security requirements</div><div><p><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Leads technical processes and designs considering reliability, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability, and scalability</li><li>Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle</li><li>Contribute to the enterprise test automation framework</li><li>Apply programming and testing expertise to design and develop automated testing solutions and mentor team members on automation</li><li>Implement technology-specific best practices that are consistent with corporate standards</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of product strategy and project deliverables.</li><li>Support business and technical presentations in relation to technology platforms and business solutions</li><li>Drive new technical and business process improvements</li><li>Research and evaluate specific technologies, and applications, and contributes to the solution design</li><li>Lead delivery team in maturing ways of working, and adopting continuous integration within the software delivery processes and provide expertise on integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipeline</li><li>Partner with team members to understand software requirements and design automated tests that validate the functionality while considering privacy and security requirements</li><li>Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.</li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 8 years of related experience</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience</li></ul><p><strong>Talents Needed for Success:</strong></p></div><div><ul><li>Hands on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, TestNG, etc. as well as CI/CD technologies (e.g. Cloudbees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira etc.).</li><li>Strong experience with automated testing.</li><li>Hands on with backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of Databases and SQL preferred.</li><li>Solid understanding of databases with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.</li><li>Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies, and experience working in onsite/offshore coordination models.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments.</li><li>Stays current on the changes in their area and seeks out learning opportunities to maintain up-to-date knowledge.</li></ul><p><i>Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
