Through the reselling of donated items, we can provide job readiness training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. </p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:</strong> $160K-$180K</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY: </strong>A VP of Finance and IT (or often VP of Finance & Operations/Administration) is a senior executive overseeing an organization's financial health, strategic planning, IT infrastructure, and operational efficiency, bridging fiscal management with technology to drive growth, compliance, and scalability, requiring deep expertise in finance/accounting, ERP systems, leadership, and strategic vision. This hybrid role ensures financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management align with IT investments and digital strategy, supporting business objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions Statements: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Provides financial leadership: Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, audit coordination, treasury, and ensuring compliance.</li>\n<li>IT Strategy: Overseeing IT infrastructure, systems (like ERPs), security, and aligning technology with business goals.</li>\n<li>Operational Efficiency: Streamlining processes, optimizing systems (finance & IT), and ensuring scalability.</li>\n<li>Strategic Planning: Advising executives, analyzing data, and making strategic decisions for growth and profitability.</li>\n<li><p>Assists in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and</p><p>operating procedures.</p></li>\n<li>Serves as primary government liaison relative to financial issues.</li>\n<li>Communicates expectations to direct reports, delegating authority as appropriate. Supervises and develops staf</li>\n<li>Provides leadership to manage complex interdependencies between finance and IT, crucial for organizational growth.</li>\n<li><p>Collaborates with all departments and leaders of Goodwill Industries of San Diego County to</p><p>develop, implement and manage processes and strategies to complete projects and assure</p><p>best business practice</p></li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>SKILLS AND ABILITIES: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; CPA or MBA preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 10 years in finance/accounting, with management and leadership experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamic 365 Finance, Power BI), advanced Excel, and financial and real estate portfolio modeling.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certificates & Licenses:</strong> Valid CA Driver's License with record acceptable to Goodwill's Insurance company.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong> Must meet the background check requirements of the department.</p>",
