Description

The Electrical Designer at Hyper Solutions is responsible for developing detailed electrical designs and documentation for power distribution equipment and systems. This role supports the Engineering team by translating conceptual and engineered requirements into accurate schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of material in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Working closely with Electrical Engineers, Manufacturing, and Quality, the Electrical Designer plays a key role in ensuring design accuracy, manufacturability, and documentation integrity across the full product lifecycle. Core Responsibilities Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and system drawings. Develop and update bills of material (BOMs) and detailed design documentation. Apply and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, IEEE). Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to resolve technical and design issues. Support manufacturing through drawing revisions, change orders, and troubleshooting. Participate in design reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability. Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and documentation integrity. Incorporate customer requirements and engineering changes into released designs. Additional Responsibilities Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, documentation, and standards. Assist with maintaining PLM/ERP data related to drawings and BOMs.
