Responds to guest requests, provides information and assists guests in a timely manner.<br>2. Assists guests on how to play and read machines.<br>3. Responsible for filling empty machine hoppers and contacting security according to operating procedures.<br>4. Delivers all hand payouts or jackpots to guests after completion of all necessary forms in relationship to hand payouts or jackpots.<br>5. Performs minor slot machine maintenance and repairs such as unjamming hoppers or repairing minor slot machine malfunctions.<br>6. Ensures compliance with State, NIGA regulations and Minimal Internal Control Standards.<br>7. Notifies supervisor, security or facility administrator of situations that may affect guests, associates or the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.<br>8. Performs other duties as assigned.<br><br>SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives direction and supervision from the Slot Supervisor and Slot Manager or Slot Assistant Manager on a daily basis<br><br>POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:<br>Internal: Frequent contact with associates at all levels within all departments of the organization.<br>External: Continual and extensive contact with guests and visitors.</p><p>EDUCATION: A High School education or equivalent.<br><br>EXPERIENCE: Experience in a customer focused environment is required. &nbsp;Prior experience within a gaming environment is highly desirable.<br><br>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Must be able to accurately handle money and exhibit basic math skills. Must maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations as necessary. Experience with PC&rsquo;s and related software is preferred.<br><br>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:<br>1. Work Conditions: The majority of position responsibilities are performed on the gaming floor with exposure to differentials in temperature.<br>2. Exposure to Hazards: May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors, or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.<br>3. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend or lift for extended periods of time.<br><br>LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to be licensed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Gaming Commission.<br><br>BEHAVIORS: <a data-fr-linked=\"true\" href=\"http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40\" target=\"_blank\"></a>The vision, goals and objectives of Lake of the Torches Resort Casino requires the Slot Attendant to perform in both a professional and personable manner. &nbsp;The manner in which the employee relates to fellow employees, guests and visitors is considered parallel in importance to technical knowledge and ability. &nbsp;Respect and consideration given to the dignity of each guest, visitor and fellow employee is a requisite of successful job performance.</p><p>OTHER: Must be able to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays and be available for call in to work on short notice.
