Description

Overview Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care is a leading operator of assisted living, and memory care communities in 25 locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. Essential Job Functions Reports to Executive Director Ensure there is adequate staff and assist with schedule as needed. Be knowledgeable of resident incidents at the facility. Participate in the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Meeting Manage staff concerns and conflicts Manage hiring and orientation of new staff Manage and evaluate interdisciplinary functions in Memory Care (examples: Activities, Maintenance, Dietary, etc.) Ensure sound infection control practices are in place that promotes a healthy environment. Participate in resident and family care conferences. Ensure that resident care is provided in a safe and effective manner, while consistently maintaining resident dignity, choice, privacy and respect. Maintain a current knowledge of OSHA and state regulations and routinely monitor Community compliance with regulations-related to resident care. Prepare written and oral reports requested within established time frame. Communicate with care staff to ensure tasks are completed and documented appropriately. Any other duties assigned by Executive Director. Position Requirements Experience of 2 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline is preferred. Nurse preferred Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communications skills. Knowledge of LTC management, policies, personnel management and census development. Current CPR certification preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials and general public. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
