    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Engineer Technician provides support for contract manufacturing of medical device components. The position supports manufacturing, the lightspeed lab, ATG group and contract testing efforts for materials and medical devices. The Engineering Technician position will be supporting these groups providing lab testing services in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards. The Technician will be required to receive and log test information, perform sample preparation, conduct standard and specialized tests, and analyze and report the results from testing.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow ASTM and ISO standards for material testing </li>\n <li> Prepare, image and test metallographic specimens </li>\n <li>Operate analytical testing equipment and report results </li>\n <li>Operate material testing equipment and report results </li>\n <li>Preform dimension inspection with various metrology techniques </li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment </li>\n <li>Notify departments of any product failures and assist with analysis </li>\n <li>Assist in creating, maintaining and modifying testing procedures and work instructions </li>\n <li>Other tasks as assigned by manager</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year experience with operating manufacturing and/or test equipment. </li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel software </li>\n <li>Demonstrated strong communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree or equivalent</li>\n <li>Familiarity with ISO and ASTM compliance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Primarily light office work </li>\n <li>May involve bending and lifting of light to medium weight objects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $24.00-$30.00/hr.</p>\n<p>For temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.</p>",
