Students have the opportunity to learn in a modern production facility where they will be introduced to valuable knowledge in the industrial fields and forging industry. This program is intended for students interested in pursuing a career in the manufacturing field and gain technical skills.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Actively participate in efforts to establish and promote a safe and healthy work environment and inform Safety Director and Supervisor of any accidents or equipment damage that occurs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow policies, programs, and procedures for the reduction and elimination of accidents, provide quality feedback to promote safer work behaviors and conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain an organized and clean work area.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Act professionally and cooperate with others in a team setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Engage in the use of quality tools</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Gain an understanding within a variety of fields, including machining, inspection, metallurgy and more</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Learn proper storage and housekeeping for plant layout</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Learn the stamp process and where work orders can be found</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Gain familiarization with non-conformance codes, the purpose of the NCR system and how to enter NCRs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Calibrate tools and equipment</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Junior or Senior in &ldquo;good standing&rdquo; or recent High School graduate 16 -18 years old with a 2.5 GPA or better; Must be willing to provide transcripts and faculty/personal recommendations upon request.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and apply manufacturing and industry knowledge and think critically.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all personnel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic computer skills, ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br>&nbsp;The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
