This role supervises associates in the park daily, assists with training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and supporting teams on location. As an Entertainment Supervisor, you will work to ensure departmental goals and objectives are communicated and implemented by personnel under your supervision. Positions vary on parkwide Entertainment operations and programming ranging from working with the Character Program, Special Event/Festival programming, Technical/Production team, Costumes/Cosmetology team, or even in a Stage Management capacity with the Shows team. Our jobs can lead to a successful future by developing resume-building skills as well as gaining knowledge through training and work experienc</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Entertainment Supervisor daily assigned duties may vary depending on location/program assignment & may include tasks such as:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>• Supervising daily operations within the Entertainment department</p>\n<p>• Opening/closing locations ensuring cleanliness in guest facing areas as well as backstage areas</p>\n<p>• Promotes teamwork and creates a positive & safe work environment for all</p>\n<p>• Monitor & report associate timekeeping ensuring all park policies are followed daily</p>\n<p>• Maintain associate schedules in UKG</p>\n<p>• Ensure all program elements are safe, properly operating, & clean</p>\n<p>• Provide excellent customer service for our guests</p>\n<p>• Supporting our teams daily to produce superior guest entertainment experiences</p>\n<p>• Resolves guest and associate concerns following proper protocols and procedures</p>\n<p>• Communicate with various teams within the Entertainment department efficiently & respectfully</p>\n<p>• Establishes & maintains good working relationships with other park departments and partners</p>\n<p>• Coordinate and carry out logistics for special events & activations in park as assigned</p>\n<p>• Accurately completes necessary daily paperwork including reports, files, and venue checklists</p>\n<p>• Follows and enforces all park & department policies and procedures</p>\n<p>• Monitors and reports supply inventory levels to upper management to ensure adequate supplies to complete job tasks</p>\n<p>• Other duties as assigned</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>•You!</p>\n<p>• Positive attitude and readiness to bring the FUN by making our entertainment programming come to life.</p>\n<p>• Ability to pass a background check.</p>\n<p>• Maneuverability and mobility to move from location to location within the park daily.</p>\n<p>• People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.</p>\n<p>• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.</p>\n<p>• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.</p>\n<p>• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.</p>\n<p>• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays</p>",
