    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for supervising the material distribution department in collaboration with Operations and Materials Distribution Managers. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains day-to-day communications with client Materials Distribution Managers and CBPS’s Operations Manager & Director</li>\n <li>Keeps management informed of all operational issues</li>\n <li>Works with management to evaluate, research and recommend solutions regarding Distribution mgt related issues.</li>\n <li>Prioritize, schedule and delegates assignments to staff and monitors progress</li>\n <li>Ensure quality and productivity standards are being met by staff</li>\n <li>Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies</li>\n <li>Interface with the client, operations team, and corporate departments as necessary</li>\n <li>Initiate communication and problem solving with regard to customer concerns</li>\n <li>Assists Site Manager with administration of HR policies and procedures including safety, performance evaluations, employee training, development and motivation</li>\n <li>Assists in recruiting new employees</li>\n <li>Compiles weekly and monthly statistical data to be used by Manager for reporting</li>\n <li>Manage budget and control expenses effectively</li>\n <li>Assists with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancements</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma; College degree preferred</li>\n <li>One year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience managing a staff of 10+   non-exempt employees a plus</li>\n <li>Strong product knowledge a must</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Lawson (or similar supply chain management systems) required</li>\n <li>Ability to use word processing and spreadsheets applications (Microsoft Office Programs)</li>\n <li>Must be a “critical thinker” with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment</li>\n <li>Displays sense of urgency and understands who the “customers” are</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills are required for success in this function</li>\n <li>Demonstrated good ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processes</li>\n <li>Consistently display a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Ability to lift 40 lbs</p>\n<p>Repetitive motion</p>\n<p>Reaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs</p>\n<p>Walking, standing for extended periods of time</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p>Competitive pay & benefits!</p>\n<p>Comprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from within</p>\n<p>A company focused on creating a positive work and client environment</p>\n<p>Employee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Come Join Our Team!</em></strong></p>",
