This role will be full-time (36hrs/week) working three&nbsp;12-hour shifts per week, variable day off, on-call requirement for nights, weekends, and holidays. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs.</li>\n <li>The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts.</li>\n <li>Anticipates the needs of the surgeon, which includes passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure.</li>\n <li>Serves as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas/procedures.</li>\n <li>May perform additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Education</strong>: High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li><strong>Experience</strong>: 1 years of Surgical Technologist experience or equivalent</li>\n <li><strong>Certification</strong>: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.</li>\n <li><strong>License</strong>: Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
