Monitors heart rhythms of patients in special care units using telemetry equipment. Reports any changes in EKG rate or rhythm monitoring to clinical nurse.</p>\n<p><strong>Reports:</strong></p>\n<p>RN / Nurse Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<p>None</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<p>Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation program and passing an in-depth arrhythmia-specific test using caliper measurements and evaluation of rhythm changes over time using full disclosure.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum: No previous experience is necessary. </li>\n <li>Preferred: One (1) to two (2) years of job-related experience; must be able to recognize, evaluate, and interpret heart rhythm changes and perform the duties of a unit secretary.
