    "description": "<p><strong>THE ROLE:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>As a Senior Technician with the Gotham Greens &ndash; Maintenance &amp; Safety Team, you will be a key technical subject matter expert that ensures greenhouse equipment availability and the optimal integrity of all critical systems. You will be expected to rapidly troubleshoot equipment failures, provide root cause analysis, and quickly restore equipment into service. You will work closely with other Gotham Greens Maintenance Technicians on daily preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, vendor quality assessments, and associated projects. You will have an expert understanding of automated systems logic, conveyance, commercial electrical, plumbing, and HVACR. You will also be expected to provide professional guidance and mentorship to our junior technicians.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>RESPONSIBILITY:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical/mechanical aspects of automated greenhouse equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Repair conveyors, labelers, irrigation, fan systems, and associated critical infrastructure.</li>\r\n\t<li>Repair or replace adjustable &amp; wearable components. (belts, chains, cables, hoses, bearings, pulleys)</li>\r\n\t<li>Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment within specifications.</li>\r\n\t<li>Troubleshoot PLC programs, components, and communications modules. (Photo Eyes, Sensors, Limit Switches, Transducers)</li>\r\n\t<li>Troubleshoot power distribution systems, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring up to 480V 3 Phase.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide support installing electrical drops, outlets, and lighting according to code.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assess vendor completed projects for quality of work.</li>\r\n\t<li>Develop work plans with leadership &amp; colleagues for emergency repair of critical assets.</li>\r\n\t<li>Utilize MMS system to proper track labor hours, procedures, PM/CMs, and associated inventory.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow appropriate safety procedures while maintaining equipment to include:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and OSHA General Industry Standards.</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure a safe working environment by eliminating potential safety hazards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Work occasionally at height with provided fall protection.</li>\r\n\t<li>Work effectively in variable environmental conditions and temperatures.</li>\r\n\t<li>Utilize hand tools and powered tools with precision and safety.</li>\r\n\t<li>Use knowledge and experience to design and fabricate solutions to improve our facilities.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Minimum 7-10+ years of Facility or Manufacturing technical maintenance experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong technical background in HVAC, commercial electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong computer competency and willingness to leverage technology.</li>\r\n\t<li>Expert knowledge of hand tools, powered tools, and commercial equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong background troubleshooting and diagnosing Programmable Logic Controlled Systems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Comfortability working in elevated positions: ladders, lifts, catwalks, rooftops.</li>\r\n\t<li>Willingness to be a team player, while providing guidance, training, and support to junior team members.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>PREFEFFED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Graduate of Technical School or Engineering discipline.</li>\r\n\t<li>Licenses or Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Construction, OSHA.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience working in a greenhouse or food safety setting.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
