Description The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced consultant with 6+ years of experience. The position will be expected to assist the North Central Solid Waste Practice Group in support of business development activities. The ideal person for this position seeks a fast-paced, challenging environment, a place to grow and improve skills, and a collaborative environment that is conducive to the development of their personal skills. Responsibilities Manage hydrogeologic investigations, site assessments and technical projects. Conduct both internal and client-facing meetings related to project work. Develop and maintain technology leadership in groundwater impact assessment and environmental remediation. Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, quality deliverables, outstanding client service, and exceptional teamwork. Assure that up-to-date and validated technical methods and practice tools are applied. Champion quality and demonstrate leadership by personal high standards for work processes and products and exemplary service to clients. Actively participate in professional societies, conferences, and meetings that will increase the firm's visibility to potential clients and recruits. Negotiate and agree on project scope, job tasks, contract terms, budget, and schedule with Clients. Manage work to meet contract schedules, appropriate codes and regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement, and industry standard-of-care criteria. Perform background research, gather information, and interpret laboratory and field data to support technical activities. Evaluate data reports and draw comparisons of results with similar analyses. Provide input for and develop written technical reports for delivery to clients and in conformance with regulatory program frameworks. Perform quality control review and maintain deliverable quality to meet internal, client, and stakeholder requirements. Actively support and participate in the company health and safety program by teaching and enforcing health and safety standards, regulations, and procedures. Provide outstanding service to clients, to the point that clients sole source new work opportunities. Maintain close personal relationships with existing and prospective clients. Lead permitting and regulatory agency coordination efforts. Lead, mentor, delegate to and manage junior staff to grow their knowledge and career path. Develop relationships with a network of technical experts throughout the company. Develop proposals by working with clients to understand their goals as well as technical needs and requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Science; Master’s Degree highly preferred 6+ years of relevant professional environmental consulting experience. Licensed as professional geologist (RG/PG) Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Extensive written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing and technical report writing. Experience with management of both private and public sector projects At least 2-3 years of experience directing/managing various staff resources. Well-developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team. Evaluate data reports and draw comparisons of results with similar analyses.\\n\\tProvide input for and develop written technical reports for delivery to clients and in conformance with regulatory program frameworks.&nbsp; Perform quality control review and maintain deliverable quality to meet internal, client, and stakeholder requirements.\\n\\tActively support and participate in the company health and safety program by teaching and enforcing health and safety standards, regulations, and procedures.\\n\\tProvide outstanding service to clients, to the point that clients sole source new work opportunities. &nbsp;Maintain close personal relationships with existing and prospective clients.\\n\\tLead permitting and regulatory agency coordination efforts.\\n\\tLead, mentor, delegate to and manage junior staff to grow their knowledge and career path.\\n\\tDevelop relationships with a network of technical experts throughout the company.\\n\\tDevelop proposals by working with clients to understand their goals as well as technical needs and requirements.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\n\\n\\tBachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Geological Science; Master&rsquo;s Degree highly preferred\\n\\t6+ years of relevant professional environmental consulting experience.\\n\\tLicensed as professional geologist (RG/PG)\\n\\tProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)\\n\\tExtensive written and oral communication skills, including proposal writing and technical report writing.\\n\\tExperience with management of both private and public sector projects\\n\\tAt least 2-3 years of experience directing/managing various staff resources.\\n\\tWell-developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team.\\n\\n\\n&nbsp;\\n\\nFrom its inception in 1991, Weaver Consultants Group&nbsp;has been founded upon the tenets of attentive and responsive customer service, strong project&nbsp;management, and solid internal financial controls.
