Current open position is located in our Huntington Station, LI group home.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position including contributory medical/dental coverage, free life insurance, retirement savings plan, 18 agency holidays, and generous earned time off.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Major responsibilities include:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Our ideal candidate will have:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">BA/BS plus 2 years’ or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years’ management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adults</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience caring for medically frail seniors, including those with mobility issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to resident care needs</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications include:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License</li>\n<li>Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to individual's needs</li>\n<li>Ability to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:   </span></em>$68,000/yr.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Work Schedule:  </span></em>40 hrs./wk.
