    "description": "<p>Truspace is looking for an experienced Site Manager to deliver high-profile portfolios of commercial design-builds and refurbishment projects that exceed our client's expectations in Toronto. The successful candidate has an excellent track record within industry experience and has extensive experience in a commercial environment. They will also be a highly motivated person who works well within a team and take ownership of their assigned responsibilities, be hands-on with the ability to identify problems and resolve them in as efficient a manner as possible, and be able to build/sustain relationships with the suppliers, trades, clients and the project team, with energy, drive, and total commitment to design excellence.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This is a project-based job opportunity starting June 2026.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>Manage day-to-day site operations and support the successful delivery of construction projects.</li>\n<li>Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and laborers on site.</li>\n<li>Receive, inspect, and verify material deliveries for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n<li>Perform general labor and hands-on construction tasks when required.</li>\n<li>Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and client requirements.</li>\n<li>Maintain high quality standards and ensure workmanship aligns with company expectations.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and site procedures.</li>\n<li>Enforce Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OH&amp;S) policies and regulatory requirements on site.</li>\n<li>Monitor site progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.</li>\n<li>Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Ensure client expectations and satisfaction are consistently met or exceeded.</li>\n<li>Support project activities from permit stage through construction completion.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we are looking for:</span></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.</li>\n<li>Experience managing commercial tenant improvement (TI), renovation, or design-build projects.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior construction processes.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Ontario Building Code (OBC), Construction Health &amp; Safety standards, and LEED construction practices.</li>\n<li>Experience working with property managers, tenants, and building operations teams is an asset.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.</li>\n<li>Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and site activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Truspace</span></p>\n<p><br>We design and build workplaces that support how companies operate.
