This person will assist the Chairman of the Computer &amp; Information Sciences Department and the CIS Academic Lab Manager in maintaining and operating the Academic Computer &amp; Information Sciences Labs.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Example of Duties:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist in maintaining and operating the computers in Rooms H308 and H311 that provide facilities for Computer &amp; Information Science students as required for their courses each semester.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist CIS students in using the computers and other computer equipment in conjunction with assignments in their courses.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist CIS instructors in the use of computer hardware and software for their students.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Tutor students on subject matter that is part of the course syllabus in CIS courses.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Perform related duties as assigned by the Chairman of the CIS Department and the CIS Academic Lab Manager.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Enrolled in or graduate of A.A.S. Degree Program in CIS or equivalent educational or work experience in computer field.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer languages as needed.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to communicate orally and work with people.</li><li style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to effectively assist students in the completion of their assignments.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong> Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications.
