The focus is on new upcoming technologies like integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), non-terrestrial communication, and/or machine learning techniques as part of the wireless transmission system. Depending on your abilities, you’ll extend the existing prototyping system and conduct experiments to verify and quantify new ideas.</p>\n<p>The deployment of 5G is ongoing, and the focus of researchers in academia and industry is already shifting to the 6th generation of wireless communications. The focus is on new upcoming technologies like e.g. integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), non-terrestrial communication, and/or machine learning techniques as part of the wireless transmission system. As with 5G, NI wants to be on the leading edge and is preparing for the next technology wave.</p>\n<div>\n <strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Working on a prototyping system for 6G Wireless Communications Research</li>\n  <li>Plan, set up, and conduct measurement campaigns and experiments</li>\n  <li>Implement compelling demonstrators and Proof of Concepts for 6G communication systems to be showcased at conferences &nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong>Who You Are:</strong>\n</div>\n<div>\n You work effectively in a group environment, solve problems, diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions. You prepare content for communication that is impactful and reach out to mentors with questions to help drive progress and completion of goals and tasks.
