Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity and Stewardship that support our mission, vision and values.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>Education:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current CNA certification required.</li>\n <li>Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Initiates suggestions to RN to clarify, alter, or individualize nursing care for changing patient needs.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Demonstrates competent performance & completion of technical skills within scope of nursing technician.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Reinforces patient teaching relative to presenting conditions.</li>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<li>Assures that department is survey-ready at all times.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Communicates effectively with all members of the patient care team.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Promotes cooperation and teamwork between departments.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Documents care provided in the medical record according to policies & procedures.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Becomes familiar with all aspects and requirements of patient’s medical record.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Provides safe patient care during patient transport utilizing appropriate protocols.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Performs other related work as required or requested.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
