Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes. Aligns pipes and seals joints together with cement or glue.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pipelayer</strong><strong> Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directs activities within the trench to ensure the pipe is laid to the designed vertical and horizontal tolerances using levels or lasers.</li>\n <li>Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding, cementing or sealing with glue.</li>\n <li>Monitors backfill of pipe bedding to ensure proper haunch support.</li>\n <li>Assist in lot servicing and all other duties as required by Foreman.</li>\n <li>Install and repair sanitary and storm water, sewer structures and pipe systems.</li>\n <li>Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.</li>\n <li>This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Sureway Construction Group</strong> is an equal opportunity employer.
