    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable business insights. They will lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end business intelligence solutions, utilizing expertise in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>End-to-End Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive Power BI reports and dashboards, managing the entire lifecycle from initial data connection to final visualization.</li>\n <li>Data Transformation: Utilize Power Query for advanced data cleaning and transformation, converting complex, unstructured data into clean, structured models.</li>\n <li>Data Modeling: Organize and connect different data sources efficiently so that reports load quickly and retrieve accurate information.</li>\n <li>Advanced Calculations: Write and maintain complex DAX and M-Query formulas, including calculated columns and measures, to support deep analytical requirements.</li>\n <li>Systems Integration: Manage data extraction and integration, with a specific focus on utilizing and pulling data from SharePoint Lists.</li>\n <li>Automation: Implement workflow automations using Power Automate to schedule data refreshes and trigger necessary alerts or notifications.</li>\n <li>Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous validation checks to ensure absolute data accuracy, ensuring that dashboard metrics perfectly align with source files.</li>\n <li>Insight Generation: Analyze raw data sets to identify emerging trends, spot outliers, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills/ Qualifications:</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Power BI Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in building end-to-end reports and interactive visualizations.</li>\n <li>DAX & M-Query Language: Advanced proficiency in writing complex formulas, measures, and calculated columns.</li>\n <li>Data Modeling: Proven ability to structure and link data efficiently for optimal report performance.</li>\n <li>Expert Excel: Mastery of advanced Excel formulas and functions for data analysis and validation.</li>\n <li>SharePoint Lists: Specific expertise in creating, managing, and extracting data seamlessly from SharePoint environments.</li>\n <li>Data Analysis: Strong capability to examine raw data and synthesize it into clear trends, outliers, and actionable business intelligence.</li>\n <li>Data Accuracy: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and consistency between dashboards and source systems.</li>\n <li>Power Automate: Working knowledge of Power Automate for automating data pipeline refreshes and notification triggers (Preferred).</li>\n <li>PL-300 or DA-100 Certification (Preferred). </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.</li>\n <li>A minimum of ten (10) years Federal Government experience as military, civilian, or contractor.</li>\n <li>Experience in Federal Government acquisition, financial management and/or audit readiness (Preferred).</li>\n <li>Power Query: Extensive experience in data cleaning, shaping, and transformation.</li>\n <li>Experience working with and briefing senior level DoD personnel; excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirements:</strong> Must possess an active Secret security clearance and be eligible for immediate SCI nomination and indoctrination. Must be a U.S. Citizen. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong>The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job <strong><em>with or without a reasonable accommodation</em></strong><em>:</em> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers. </li>\n <li>Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations. </li>\n <li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer. </li>\n</ul>",
