Description This competition is open to all applicants however; internal candidates and applicants who were former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration before external candidates. Please log in to verify your internal candidate status. This position has an end date of June 30, 2027. Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton. Parking Services provides parking and traffic related services to the campus community. The Jubilee Parking Attendant provides on site parking support to special events and performances at the Jubilee Auditorium. Responsibilities Direct traffic as required. Deliver change and permits to kiosks as required. Perform minor repair to parking equipment (cash registers) as required. Sell visitor parking permits. Compile occurrence reports. Monitor parking space inventory. Provide parking related information such as prices, availability, and locations. Other related duties as required. Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work in changeable working conditions including inclement weather. Previous industry experience is an asset. Related industry experience such as cash handling and customer service is preferred. Previous exposure to parking technology is an asset.
