Overview Join our team! Full-time position starting at $23.88 - $25.31/hr. (D.O.E.) Elizabeth Thomas Homes is a community consisting of 119 units of affordable housing in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood. The property contains studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units. All units are affordable to families making up to 60% of the area median income. The property includes amenities such as a club house, community room, computer lab, and courtyard and is located within two blocks of the light rail. Elizabeth Thomas Homes is managed by Allied Residential. Monica’s Village Place is a community consisting of 51 units of affordable housing in Seattle’s Historic Central Area, at the intersection of 23rd Avenue South and South Main Streets, consisting of one, two, and three bedroom apartments and townhomes. All units are affordable to families making 30% to 50% of the area median household income with special designations for homeless families. The building is oriented around a central courtyard containing a play area for children and a healing/reflection garden. Monica’s Village Place is managed by Archdiocesan Housing Authority dba Catholic Housing Services. How YOU can make a difference The Resident Services Coordinator is an integral part of the housing teams at Elizabeth Thomas Homes and Monica’s Village Place. They will work closely with management to achieve the common goals of health and wellbeing of the residents as well as sustainability of the properties. The Resident Services Coordinator will divide their time to spend 50% of the week at each location. The purpose of the Resident Services Coordinator is to create community within each property by hosting events, providing information and referrals, and collaborating with other service providers. Connecting residents to social services and programs that focus on housing success, general wellness, employment, education, health and safety is the primary duty of this position. This position is an in person, full time role which will require occasional weekend and evening hours to best serve the residents of each respective community. Collaborates with on‑site property management staff to orient new residents, explain resident services, identify residents needing additional support, and address lease or house rule concerns through coordinated strategies. Facilitates resident engagement, including organizing and leading resident meetings and fostering inclusive, respectful, and solution‑focused communication. Administrative and Professional Responsibilities Maintains accurate and timely documentation of services provided, resident interactions, outcomes, expenses, and in‑kind donations in accordance with program standards. Adheres to confidentiality and privacy requirements, respecting resident rights and following all applicable policies and regulations. Maintains accurate records of time worked and submits timesheets and mileage reimbursements in a timely manner. Participates in required trainings, supervision, and meetings, and contributes as a cooperative and supportive member of a team‑oriented work environment. Maintains positive relationships with residents and businesses in surrounding neighborhoods and performs other job‑related duties as assigned. Job Conditions This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infection material. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance, dust, noise, and odors. Working conditions may include interruptions, working alone, evening or weekend work, use of computers, and interactions with individuals who are angry and/or dealing with mental health or substance use disorders. Physical and Mental Acuity Demands The requirements described her are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
