Installs system additions and turnkey systems. Provides 24-hour customer service.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.</li>\n<li>Supports BAS and PLC field troubleshooting. </li>\n<li>Assists with HVAC controls and instrumentation work. <br>Performs field preventative maintenance checks on electronic systems.</li>\n<li>Provides field hardware support on electronic controllers and control devices and on pneumatic systems where applicable.</li>\n<li>Provides on-site and front-end software assistance and support to customers.</li>\n<li>Provides 24-hour on-call hardware and software service availability.</li>\n<li>Installs system additions and turnkey systems.</li>\n<li>Completes all necessary paperwork to support field work.</li>\n<li>Conducts appropriate on-the-job training for Service Technicians I, II, and III.</li>\n<li>Assists with or independently performs checkout and start-up of system additions and turnkey systems.</li>\n<li>Communicates with equipment representatives to solve field hardware problems.</li>\n<li>Assists with or independently performs job check-out and start-up as necessary.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Licensed Electrical Journeyperson.</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education in related field desirable.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience with building automation systems or in a related field.</li>\n<li>Ability to understand design and design-intent of HVAC systems.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical and control drawings, specifications, schematics and ladder diagrams.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of building automation systems software.</li>\n<li>Above average troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with proven mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and their components.</li>\n<li>Proven leadership skills and ability to manage people.</li>\n<li>Ability to organize and administer multiple jobs and tasks with good attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Above average knowledge of electrical trade and applicable electrical codes as they apply to building automation systems.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of and ability to deal with other construction trades.</li>\n<li>Must be confident, decisive and self-motivated and able to make independent decisions.</li>\n<li>Above average math and logic skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to work a frequently changing schedule to meet customer demands.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working a minimum of 40 hours/week, scheduled in 8 to 10-hour shifts</li>\n<li>Standing and climbing 4 to 6 hours/day</li>\n<li>Kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders, and bending 4 to 5 hours/day</li>\n<li>Twisting (180° ) and walking 2 to 3 hours/day</li>\n<li>Squatting and sitting 1 to 2 hours/day</li>\n<li>Lifting weights of 0 to 75 lbs. at the following frequencies:  continuous lifting of 10 to 35 lbs.; frequent lifting of 35 to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting of 50 to 75 lbs.; sizes &amp; shapes of objects vary from concrete blocks to cylinders to 10’ lengths of metallic conduit and 20' lengths of PVC conduit; average carry requirements, 60 lbs. for 40'</li>\n<li>Ability to lift from floor to above shoulder</li>\n<li>Repetitive use of hands includes: continuous grasping up to 50 lbs.; frequent pushing and pulling of 50 to 75 lbs.; and fine motor coordination for receptacle installation and wire terminations</li>\n<li>Repetitive use of feet is required for operating heavy equipment, conduit benders and vertical climbing</li>\n<li>Vision adequate for blueprint reading and color coding for wire identification</li>\n<li>Balance adequate for continuous climbing of ladders, scaffolds, and lifts</li>\n<li>Environmental factors include working in:  temperature extremes of 0° F to 100° F;
