Our mechanics and shop teams play a critical role in keeping equipment road-ready and operations moving.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join Jacknife and grow your career with a company that values skilled trades and offers the strength and stability of Trimac. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: <strong>1-866-4-TRIMAC</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Pay Details</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$48 - $50 per hour</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Schedule</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Morning Schedule </li>\n <li>7 days on, 7 days off </li>\n <li>7:00 AM to 7:00 PM</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safe and professional work practices are mandatory</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to read and understand written instructions and communications and write job reports, work order summaries, and other record-keeping functions</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems (troubleshoot)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, exercise good judgment and common sense and conduct him/herself professionally</li>\n <li>Demonstrated good interpersonal and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Must be physically fit and of reasonable strength and endurance to perform the duties required in a tanker trailer shop operation</li>\n <li>Able to perform duties in all weather conditions</li>\n <li>Physical Demands include lifting, carrying, pulling/pushing, and climbing stairs</li>\n <li>The majority of work is conducted in a Shop Environment with some light administration work occasionally required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, this incumbent will utilize journeyman-level technical knowledge and expertise to perform complex mechanical tasks in the repair, maintenance, inspection, and certification of Trimac Energy Services' tanker trailer fleet with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.</li>\n <li>Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.</li>\n <li>Follow safety and use of proper PPE.</li>\n <li>Follow procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Journeyman certification</li>\n <li>Red Seal is an asset.</li>\n <li>CVIP Certification is an asset.</li>\n <li>Two years verifiable mechanic experience.</li>\n <li>Grade 12 graduate.</li>\n <li>Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies, and generally accepted work practices relating to tanker trailer shop operations</li>\n <li>Full understanding of all elements of the job (i.e.: shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, use of all hand and power)</li>\n <li>Computer keyboarding skills and a basic understanding of computer business systems is desirable.</li>\n <li>Operation of hand and air tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit</li>\n <li>Paid orientation training</li>\n <li>Pension Plan enrollment after 1 year of service</li>\n <li>Holiday and vacation pay</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Life Insurance & Disability Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Perks</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Financial assistance will be given for relocation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Safety Commitments</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>We make safety a part of every decision</li>\n <li>We make safety personal</li>\n <li>We have the courage to intervene</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>Starting from CAD $48.00/Hr.\n<h2>Market</h2>Edmonton, AB",
