    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Slots, this position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, as well as other assigned duties. Must be collaborative, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains and repairs slot/video machines and associated progressive meters on gaming floor</li>\n <li>Maintains and repairs gaming-related units such as Cage equipment (currency counters), and non-gaming such as golf simulators&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Complies with pre-determined internal controls and procedures</li>\n <li>Complies with safety and security standards</li>\n <li>Performs machine installations, moves and conversions along with ensuring that such activities are properly documented to comply with regulatory and internal requirements</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots electronic issues</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned or directed</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License and pass Slot Technician training.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of slot operating systems and/or networking considered an asset&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Possesses strong troubleshooting, organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills</li>\n <li>Requires working knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment</li>\n <li>Must have a professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and be a proven team player</li>\n <li>Detailed oriented and Excellent problem solving skills</li>\n <li>Proven ability and willingness to learn and keep current within the industry</li>\n <li>Ability to work long hours and flexible schedule</li>\n <li>Must be able to work on equipment and lift up to 50lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment Considerations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
