This role supports the conversion of aging formats—including VHS tapes, film reels, photo albums, slides, DVDs, and legacy storage media—into secure digital formats for future generations.<br><br></p>\n<p>Digitizing Specialists play a critical role in delivering exceptional quality, accuracy, and customer trust while working alongside a collaborative operations and customer success team in a fast-growing technology-enabled preservation company.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br>Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train to master advanced media digitization and restoration workflows</li>\n<li>Receive, inspect, sort, and document inbound customer orders</li>\n<li>Operate legacy and modern playback equipment to achieve the highest-quality capture possible</li>\n<li>Capture, organize, and curate digital media within a secure local area network (LAN)</li>\n<li>Perform quality control checks on digitized content</li>\n<li>Assist with basic media handling, cleaning, and preparation</li>\n<li>Coordinate closely with the Customer Success Team regarding order status and special requests</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Operations Team members to maintain efficient production workflows</li>\n<li>Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure production environment</li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational innovation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br>Skills &amp; Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, production, technical operations, or a related field</li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive and goal-oriented on a schedule</li>\n<li>Comfortable learning and operating computer systems, software, and electronic equipment</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability</li>\n<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds</li>\n<li>Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>\n<li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, media, or a related field is a plus</li>\n<li>Experience with media production, electronics, photography, audio/video equipment, or archival work is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br>Position Details</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: 2076 Wambaw Creek Road, Charleston, SC 29492</li>\n<li>Internship, part-time, and full-time opportunities available</li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling may be available depending on role and availability</li>\n<li>Compensation starts at $10.00/hour, based on experience and position type</li>\n<li>Benefits available for eligible full-time employees</li>\n<li>Clear advancement opportunities are available through promotion to Digitizing Specialist II and Digitizing Specialist I roles, each with increased responsibility and compensation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br>About Heirloom</span></p>\n<p>At <a href=\"https://heirloom.cloud\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heirloom Cloud Corporation</a>, we believe memories matter.
