    "description": "<h2>Your Role...</h2>\n<p>Warehouse Associates will perform a variety of routine tasks required of a distribution center / warehouse work environment by providing general stock keep work in the receiving, storing, and issuing of widely diversified inventory. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Receiving, stocking, retrieving, shipping and or inspecting inventory.</li>\n <li>Counts, sorts and checks in incoming inventory; verifies against requisitions, shipping notices or invoices.</li>\n <li>Ensures inventory are delivered to appropriate warehouse locations as required Replenishes inventory on shelves from warehouse stock and keeps storage areas orderly and neat in appearance</li>\n <li>Ensures that all inventories are properly placed in assigned warehouse locations.</li>\n <li>Conducts cycle counts and periodical inventory audits to determine reordering needs and verify with records; requisitions standard stock items, supplies or materials within established limits.</li>\n <li>Places or changes inventory bar code tags on merchandise; places tags, markers or labels on shelves to identify stock locations.</li>\n <li>Checks inventory being picked against invoices or purchase orders for accuracy</li>\n <li>Packs and ships packages according to instructions using proper sized boxes, appropriate packing materials and sealing tape.</li>\n <li>Insures that boxes are properly labeled for shipping</li>\n <li>Loads inventory for shipment on trucks utilizing motorized industrial trucks, pallet jacks or material moving dolly’s.</li>\n <li>Discharges all assigned responsibilities in a safe, and responsible manner.</li>\n <li>Performs related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>General Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of cataloging and inventory techniques.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.</li>\n <li>Skill in basic arithmetic.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate (read and interpret) in English</li>\n <li>Position requires: materials handling, stock control and packaging. Experience with motorized industrial trucks may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.</li>\n <li>Moderate physical effort. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 70 pounds and prolonged standing and walking.</li>\n <li>Must be capable of manipulating arms, wrists, hands and fingers to retrieve small objects and to use packing equipment.</li>\n <li>Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay Rate:</p>\n<p>The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location.
