The Analyst will support the procurement of new business opportunities and assist with key deliverables across acquisitions, underwriting, market analysis, and strategic initiatives. This role provides a great opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and expanding company.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate tactics to achieve company goals and growth objectives</li>\n <li>Underwrite new management opportunities to ensure sound and mutually beneficial business terms including rent rolls, operating statements, capital budgeting, and NOI projections </li>\n <li>Analyze target markets, growth opportunities, and asset potential using industry data sources, market trends, competitor analysis, and enrollment metrics. </li>\n <li>Create stabilized pro forma budgets and income & expense projections</li>\n <li>Prepare comprehensive market surveys and rental rate evaluations</li>\n <li>Maintain a financial and operational database for internal tracking</li>\n <li>Identify value-add opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives</li>\n <li>Assist with underwriting and due diligence for acquisitions or new management contracts</li>\n <li>Support KPI development and tracking</li>\n <li>Conduct competitive analysis of property interiors, amenities, and resident services</li>\n <li>Provide analysis of property staffing, payroll, and operational programming (utilities, trash, internet, etc.)</li>\n <li>Identify potential business development contacts and coordinate outreach</li>\n <li>Review and analyze T12s and provide side-by-side comparisons</li>\n <li>Prepare presentations and reporting materials (PowerPoint proficiency required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Additional duties as assigned.</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related Business field preferred</li>\n <li>At least 1-3 years of experience in student housing, multifamily, real estate investment, consulting, or property management analytics.</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency with Excel and financial modeling</li>\n <li>CRM and analytic tools experience preferred</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of GAAP principles</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively</li>\n <li>Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Yardi and/or Entrata experience preferred</li>\n <li>Understanding of multifamily and student housing operations is a plus</li>\n <li>Available for limited travel as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and who sees every challenge as an opportunity to improve the resident experience.
