We also perform Inspection work/services on utility project throughout the United States.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Northern Lights Locating and Inspection Inc&nbsp;is looking for Utility Locators.&nbsp;&nbsp;We offer competitive pay, great benefits and&nbsp;&nbsp;a paid time off program.&nbsp;&nbsp;We focus on allowing our locators to run their area independently as needed but there is a support system in place for them as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please apply and join the Northern Lights Team!</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>AREA SUPERVISOR</strong> - LOCATE</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>STATUS:</strong> Full Time, Employee</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp;Experience in locating required and supervisor experience required</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Regional Supervisor Locating Services</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Direct Reports:</strong> Locate Technicians</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring tickets throughout each day on the Northern Lights portal and trading/moving them as needed to accommodate volume and efficiency</li>\r\n\t<li>Locate a designated area or where help is needed to regulate volume and maintain customer quality</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with monthly field and computer audits as directed by the Regional Supervisor</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring hours through Clock Shark each day</li>\r\n\t<li>Thoroughly read emails, checking emails/text messages often, acknowledge and follow up on emails that are sent to you</li>\r\n\t<li>Keep your phone on you and be available 24/7 with assistance</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervise locators / handle personnel issues with assistance from management and HR (as needed)</li>\r\n\t<li>Timecard Review and approval Sunday evenings via email to the Regional Supervisor</li>\r\n\t<li>Coordination of vacation schedules</li>\r\n\t<li>Support team members with daily issues/concerns</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain and boost morale with locators in the field</li>\r\n\t<li>Locate in areas that need assistance or troubled specific locates</li>\r\n\t<li>Determine the working hours of locators so that ticket volume can be managed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with shooting difficult locates &ndash; &ldquo;schedule and assist with Meet-up&rdquo;.</li>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for equipment calibration and documentation of calibration.</li>\r\n\t<li>First level &ndash; damage/damage reports initial documentation</li>\r\n\t<li>Training new locators</li>\r\n\t<li>Support safety initiatives per company policy</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Attention to Detail</li>\r\n\t<li>Willingness to Travel (75% +)</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Expertise in the locating industry</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to maintain a consistent teamwork mentality.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of Northern Lights policies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to pass a drug screen</li>\r\n\t<li>Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Self-motivated and able to learn quickly</li>\r\n\t<li>Team-oriented and have exemplary character</li>\r\n\t<li>Safety focused</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong Communication</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>NORTHERN LIGHTS OFFERS:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Competitive pay</li>\r\n\t<li>Paid Holidays and Vacation Time.</li>\r\n\t<li>Affordable benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, and Life Insurance</li>\r\n\t<li>401(k) Plan &ndash; with match!</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<em>JDH Contracting, Inc. and Northern Lights Locating and Inspection, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
