    "description": "<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong>:&nbsp; In accordance with RNP&#39;s Mission Statement, Philosophy of Client Care and Code of Ethics as stated in the Personnel Policies and under the supervision of&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>This position&#39;s schedule is for every other weekend 8am-1pm.</strong></p>\n\n<p><br />\n<strong>SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong>All duties are subject to accommodation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>&nbsp;Assists Medical providers by transcribing orders in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.</li>\n\t<li>Observe and document the self-administration of prescribed controlled and non-controlled medications and, when medically indicated, administer medications to treat psychiatric, substance abuse, and medical issues in accordance with approved nursing techniques, program policies and procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.</li>\n\t<li>Verifies, updates, records and files doctors&#39; orders, dosage levels and laboratory results in client records.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain correctly stocked medication inventory, ensure safety of medications/supplies, keep an accurate log of reports of medications.</li>\n\t<li>Observes clients, records significant conditions and reactions, manages, and notifies supervisor or physician of any changes in client&#39;s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Documents refusal of medication(s) and all PRNs which are administered during shift.</li>\n\t<li>Provide medical education for clients served within the co-occurring enhanced intensive residential treatment program on an individual basis as needed and in groups periodically.</li>\n\t<li>Engages in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of co-occurring disorders to remain current in the field.</li>\n\t<li>Forward all individual Kardex&rsquo;s to counselors for filing at the end of each month.</li>\n\t<li>Obtains PPD records and/or administers PPD to clients and maintains records of clients.<br />\n\t&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n",
