Seagrave has been in business for more than 140 years and provides the best life-time value in the industry.</p><p>Position Description</p><p>Responsible for developing Quality Standard Operating Procedures and practices throughout the organization. The successful candidate will collect and review internal data to create SOPs, training documents, and lead projects needed to improve product quality.</p><p>Essential Job Functions</p><p>1. Work daily with Manufacturing Management to identify and resolve issues adversely impacting product quality.</p><p>2. Interact with all areas of the organization to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods. Use technical knowledge to implement efficient, cost effective, manufacturing improvements.</p><p>3. Learn and ensure compliance with regulations required to maintain membership in the Vehicle Inspection Program; serve as Company Leader during annual VIP Audits.</p><p>4. Ensure internal and external product and process quality standards are met by designing testing methods, establishing standards and confirming that engineering specifications are maintained.</p><p>5. Serve as co-leader with the Process Improvement Manager to create an effective manufacturing audit program.</p><p>6. Conduct training sessions at the factory, service centers, and in the field, as required.</p><p>7. Identify and communicate product improvement ideas to other internal departments.</p><p>8. Work with other areas as testing is being conducted on complete units and components under operational conditions to identify additional training and improvement opportunities.</p><p>9. Assist in developing functional quality tests for newly designed parts and products.</p><p>10. Research new technology, testing, and provide implementation support, as needed.</p><p>11. Other duties as assigned.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>1. Minimum of two years experience working in a manufacturing related quality role.</p><p>2. Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical skills.</p><p>3. Strong oral and written communication skills.</p><p>4. Ability to obtain a CDL within six months.</p></div>\n",
