Join our team as a Structural Project Engineer &ndash; Bridges, where you&rsquo;ll lead the design, inspection, and rehabilitation of bridge projects across Texas. In this role, you&rsquo;ll manage small to mid-sized projects, contribute to larger, more complex initiatives, and provide technical expertise in structural performance, load paths, and rehabilitation strategies. You&rsquo;ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with TxDOT and FHWA standards, and independently seal your work while upholding rigorous QA/QC practices.</p><p>You&rsquo;ll also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and technicians, while directly contributing to the safety, reliability, and longevity of Texas bridge infrastructure.</p><p><strong>Once selected to join our team, you will:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead the analysis, inspection review, and design of small to mid-sized bridges and transportation structures&nbsp;</li><li>Perform and review in-service routine bridge safety inspections conducted by technicians&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct structural analysis, load ratings, and rehabilitation design for bridge systems and components&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate inspection reports, condition ratings, and historical data to inform engineering decisions&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and construction plans&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct site visits and field observations to assess bridge conditions and construction progress&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, technicians, and contractors to deliver safe, code-compliant projects&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure QA/QC compliance and independently seal engineering work products&nbsp;</li><li>Mentor and provide technical guidance to Graduate other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Comprehensive understanding of bridge structural systems, including superstructures, substructures, foundations, and lateral systems&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of TxDOT and FHWA bridge inspection standards and procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with AASHTO codes and bridge design manuals&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of structural analysis, CAD/BIM tools, and bridge design software&nbsp;</li><li>Understanding of load rating methodologies, rehabilitation planning, and bridge maintenance practices&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with TxDOT bridge standards&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of bridge scour principles and scour plans of action&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD)</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong analytical
