The Lead EVS Tech maintains a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment while overseeing and guiding a team of EVS staff. The Lead EVS Tech will ensure that patient rooms, operating rooms, and other critical areas meet strict cleanliness and safety standards, especially related to infection prevention.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shift’s Available:</strong>  Evenings</p>\n<p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full Time</p>\n<p><strong>Hours: </strong>3:00pm to 11:30pm</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>St Mary's Medical Center– Blue Springs. MO</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare:</u></em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health, dental, and vision insurance options</li>\n <li>Paid vacation, sick time and holidays</li>\n <li>Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options</li>\n <li>Employer 401K options</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement options </li>\n <li>Life, disability, and other insurance options</li>\n <li>Many other amazing benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise and support EVS staff during shifts by assigning tasks, training new employees, and monitoring work quality</li>\n <li>Inspect patient rooms, ORs, and high-risk areas for proper sanitation, infection control compliance, and readiness</li>\n <li>Perform cleaning and disinfection tasks in sensitive areas such as isolation rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments</li>\n <li>Respond to urgent cleaning needs like blood/body fluid spills or room turnovers for admissions and discharges</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA standards, and Joint Commission requirements</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs or malfunctions</li>\n <li>Communicate with nursing and clinical teams to coordinate cleaning schedules with patient care activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
