Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.  <br><br><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><div><ul><li>Provide 24x7 on-call emergency response and support to maintain building systems and infrastructure integrity and availability</li><li>Monitor and maintain all building and mission critical facilities equipment</li><li>Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs supporting data center and office operations</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment to ensure efficient operation</li><li>Ensure Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer receive timely verbal and written operating reports about building systems and preventative maintenance</li><li>Encourage, train, and evaluate Apprentice's technical and behavioral skills; set professional example</li></ul></div><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments</li><li>Current electrical Journeyman's license</li><li>Experience with High Voltage</li><li>Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in area of non-expertise (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence, or vice versa)</li><li>Ability to operate and perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems</li><li>Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Effort/Activities:</strong><br>May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
