    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full-Time | At Will | Exempt</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>FlipStar Gymnastics Academy is hiring a Competitive Team Coach to join our USAG program.</p>\n<p>We are looking for either:<br>• An experienced optional-level coach, or<br>• A strong cultural fit ready to grow into higher-level coaching</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At FlipStar, coaching is treated as a professional role. Our competitive coaches focus on athlete development, progression, team culture, and <em>not</em> administrative overload.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">THE ROLE</span></p>\n<p>• Deliver high-quality gymnastics instruction with strong emphasis on technique, safety, and progression<br>• Contribute to athlete development within the USAG pathway<br>• Support positive, structured team culture<br>• Represent FlipStar professionally at meets and events<br>• Collaborate with leadership on program alignment and growth</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Administrative communication, billing, enrollment logistics, and front desk responsibilities are handled by dedicated support staff.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHY FLIPSTAR</span></p>\n<p>Many gyms expect competitive coaches to manage all parent communication, meet registrations, billing issues, and scheduling alone. That is not our model.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">We operate with:</span><br>• Dedicated administrative support<br>• Defined leadership structure<br>• Two purpose-built facilities (Rec Campus and Team Campus)<br>• Systems designed to reduce burnout and create stability</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION &amp; STRUCTURE</span></p>\n<p>This is a full-time salaried position compensated depending on experience.</p>\n<p>While some programs may advertise higher hourly rates, those roles often require coaches to carry full operational responsibility independently.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">FlipStar invests heavily in:</span><br>• Administrative infrastructure<br>• Paid Leave and Sick Pay for FTE's<br>• Health benefit options<br>• Professional development<br>• Structured growth pathways<br>• A stable, organized work environment</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>See more benefit and perk information by visiting:</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://flipstargymnastics.com/careers/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https://flipstargymnastics.com/careers/</a></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p>• Minimum 3 years competitive coaching experience<br>• Optional-level experience preferred but not required<br>• Strong knowledge of USAG Code and athlete progression<br>• Professional leadership presence<br>• Comfortable using Google Workspace and industry software such as iClassPro<br>• Ability to collaborate within a structured coaching team<br>• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain<br>• Minimum 18 years of age</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCHEDULE</span></p>\n<p>• Paid for 40 hours per week</p>\n<p>• 38 hours a week scheduled</p>\n<p>• 5 evenings per week (4:00pm – 9pm)<br>• 1 weekday morning (9am – 2:00pm)<br>• Saturday morning (8:00am – 12:30pm)</p>\n<p>• Additional support, maintenance and administrative hours flexible</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MEETS, ADDITIONAL EARNING OPPORTUNITIES &amp; SCHEDULING EXPECTATIONS</span></p>\n<p>Competitive coaches are expected to attend meets throughout the season. Meets typically take place over weekends and may include Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.</p>\n<p>Assignment priority is given to the coach leading the event and/or the coach with greater tenure within the company.</p>\n<p>Coaches are compensated for meet attendance. Meet compensation is supported through our Booster Club and is paid in addition to base salary. Specific compensation details are discussed during the interview process.</p>\n<p>Private lesson opportunities are available outside of the employees scheduled hours.
