Description

Position Summary Acuren is currently seeking IRATA Rope Access Technicians to support projects for Acuren Wind across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growing renewable energy sector while working in a dynamic, safety-driven environment alongside experienced professionals. Technicians will gain valuable hands-on experience, with strong opportunities for skill development, certification advancement, and career growth within the organization. Acuren and its affiliate entities are a leading provider of wind turbine rotor blade inspection, repair, and other services in North America. Combined with the use of rope access technology and inspection expertise, we provide a comprehensive inspection and repair solution for the wind industry. Position Details: Rotation/Shift: 6 weeks on 1 week off, 10hrs.per day. Start Date: Approximately July 2, 2026. Rate: $28.00 - $45.00 (Pay rates are based upon level of experience and certifications) Location & Travel: Remote locations throughout Canada, Flights and accommodations provided Duration: April 2026 to December 2026 Responsibilities Assist with a wide range of industrial maintenance, inspection, and repair activities while working at heights in rope access environments Safely utilize rope access techniques, specialized equipment, and hand/power tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with site procedures Support rescue preparedness and participate in emergency response and rescue operations as required Work collaboratively within a composite crew environment while assisting Journeypersons and senior technicians with daily project activities Maintain clear communication and coordinate with site personnel, supervisors, and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all safety standards and procedures Adhere to all IRATA, company, client, and site-specific safety requirements while promoting a strong safety-first culture on site Requirements Certifications & Qualifications IRATA Level 1,2 or 3 Certification Previous experience with wind turbines considered an asset First aid certification (required) Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standard Core Competencies Strong work ethic and reliability Exceptional safety and quality awareness Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers Strong problem-solving and time management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical and performance level Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license Clean driver’s abstract Benefits The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
