    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated, hard-working equipment operator to join our team of professionals. Learn and grow within our company; we promote from within and provide great benefits. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This non-exempt position operates one or more types of heavy construction equipment such as: backhoes, pavers, dozers, tractor pans and graders to perform various tasks (e.g. paving, excavating, laying pipe, moving and grading dirt, etc.). Responsible for safe operation of machines, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines.</li>\n <li>Adjusts hand levers and depresses pedals to operate equipment and control attachments such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.</li>\n <li>Discusses plans for the day's work with field manager, reviews blueprints if necessary and determines best method of getting assigned work done safely, accurately, and on time.</li>\n <li>Make judgments regarding the most efficient operations of equipment and attachments.</li>\n <li>Compliance with Allan Myers Polices including but not limited to.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Equipment repair / maintenance procedures and Operator Safety Standards</li>\n   <li>Safety, Safety, Safety!</li>\n   <li>“Home Safe Tonight” and related policies</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Hourly Range:</strong>• $24.00 - $26.00, based on experience. \n<strong>Benefits:</strong>• We offer competitive industry-leading benefits (including Medical, Vision and Dental), vacation, paid holidays, annual performance bonus program and 401k.\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of equipment operating experience required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) a plus.</li>\n <li>Related work experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Our Company Does Work That Matters</strong></p>\n<p>Allan Myers is a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and construction materials company with a strategic network of offices, quarries and asphalt plants covering the Mid-Atlantic from New Jersey to Virginia Beach.
