Courses are online and run for five weeks in eight different sessions.&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">We are particularly interested in hiring adjunct faculty to develop and teach courses in Communications and Professional Writing. Courses to be potentially covered include Environmental Communication, Communicating to Stakeholders, Crisis Communication, Multimedia Communication, as well as Writing for Environmental Professionals.&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Courses are taught asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course. </span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Qualifications</span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The ideal candidate will possess a <strong>terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM)</strong> in the discipline or a <strong>master&rsquo;s degree</strong> with ample experience in the profession. &nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must have strong organizational and time management skills. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college. </li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The Location</span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Unity College&rsquo;s distance education curriculum is 100% online.
