Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurology Physician (MD/DO) to provide on-site neurology consultations for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. The physician will evaluate and manage complex neurologic disorders while collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers and facility teams.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Provide on-site neurology consultations in SNF/LTC settings</p>\n<p>• Diagnose and manage neurologic conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, neuropathy, and movement disorders</p>\n<p>• Perform comprehensive neurologic examinations and cognitive assessments</p>\n<p>• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic studies including imaging and laboratory tests</p>\n<p>• Manage neurologic medications and treatment plans</p>\n<p>• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and interdisciplinary teams</p>\n<p>• Participate in care planning, quality improvement, and hospital readmission reduction initiatives</p>\n<p>• Ensure accurate and regulatory-compliant documentation in EMR systems</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school</p>\n<p>• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency</p>\n<p>• Active and unrestricted New York State medical license</p>\n<p>• DEA registration</p>\n<p>• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology</p>\n<p>• Experience in SNF/LTC or post-acute care preferred</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
