This includes shipping, receiving, identifying, storing, and issuing materials to support production needs. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in inventory management, and the ability to safely handle materials in a manufacturing environment.</p><hr><h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li>Ship, receive, identify, store, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.</li><li>Accurately count inventory, perform system entries, and complete required documentation.</li><li>Properly tag and route shipments using designated carriers.</li><li>Safely operate a forklift (once certified/trained).</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and stock replenishment.</li><li>Pull and stage parts for work orders and production needs.</li><li>Ensure materials and finished goods are stored in designated locations.</li><li>Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.</li><li>Communicate effectively with supervisors, inspectors, and team members.</li><li>Maintain dependable attendance to support production schedules.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><ul><li>Manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, smoke, and fumes typical of the industry.</li></ul><hr><h2>Job Requirements</h2><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum of <strong>2 years of material handling experience</strong> in a manufacturing environment.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\">Previous <strong>experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.</strong></li><li>Ability to accurately count inventory and complete computer/system entries.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and safety procedures.</li><li>Ability to learn, retain, and identify parts, materials, and equipment.</li><li>Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members.</li></ul><hr><h2 data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Physical Demands&nbsp;</strong></h2><ul><li>Regularly lift between 1&ndash;60 pounds.</li><li>Frequently bend, reach, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Ability to read and understand work orders, safety instructions, and system data.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Preferred Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h2><ul><li>Advanced knowledge of inventory control processes and cycle counting.</li><li><div style=\"font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred, and familiarity with <strong>ERP systems is a strong advantage</strong>.</div></li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Additional Information</strong></h2><p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
