Passionate.</strong><br>\nThese are the leadership traits that define our future <strong>Dean, Academic Affairs (Nursing)</strong>.</p><p>Based at our <strong>Irving Campus</strong>, this role provides academic leadership and strategic oversight for both our <strong>Daytime</strong> and <strong>Evening &amp; Weekend nursing programs</strong>. As the academic leader, you will shape the vision, ensure excellence in delivery, and provide continuity across programs—driving student success while fostering a culture of care, accountability, and innovation.</p><p>The Dean of Academic Affairs will oversee the management, quality, and performance of the nursing academic portfolio, building and empowering a <strong>high‑performing faculty and academic support team</strong>. This role ensures curricula remain current, rigorously delivered, and aligned with institutional objectives, accreditation standards, and workforce needs—while leveraging data‑informed strategies to elevate student outcomes.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Execute the <strong>BSN academic strategy</strong> for the Irving Campus, with direct accountability for student outcomes including NCLEX pass rates, persistence, graduation, and student satisfaction.</li><li>Provide academic leadership across <strong>Daytime and Evening/Weekend programs</strong>, ensuring consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Ensure curriculum delivery meets institutional standards and accreditation requirements through continuous evaluation, assessment, and improvement.</li><li>Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing academic team—faculty, lab staff, experiential learning partners, and academic support teams—aligned to student success.</li><li>Oversee faculty hiring, onboarding, development, scheduling, performance management, and retention, including accountability for teaching excellence and engagement.</li><li>Embed <strong>Chamberlain Care® principles</strong> and Covista culture expectations into academic operations, faculty practices, and student support.</li><li>Manage academic operations in partnership with national support teams, including faculty workload models, budgets, and instructional resources.</li><li>Serve as a trusted liaison to internal stakeholders, community partners, and governing bodies with professionalism and care.</li><li>Lead program growth, innovation, and curricular change with agility, responding to evolving healthcare education and workforce demands.</li><li><strong>Prioritize Student Success</strong> – Anticipate student needs, empower faculty to remove barriers, and lead solutions that improve outcomes.</li><li><strong>Connect to the Vision</strong> – Align daily academic work to Chapelman University’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.</li><li><strong>Strive to Improve</strong> – Leverage feedback, innovation, and data to continuously improve academic quality and operating models.</li><li><strong>Work as One Team</strong> – Collaborate closely with the Executive Director, ADAAs, and peers to support academic and business outcomes.</li><li><strong>Own Outcomes</strong> – Demonstrate ethical leadership, accountability, and celebration of individual and team success.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li><li>Complies with all policies and standards</li></ul><p>What Success Looks Like in This Role</p><ul><li>Students achieve <strong>strong and sustained outcomes</strong>, including meeting or exceeding national BSN average NCLEX pass rates.</li><li>High levels of <strong>student engagement and satisfaction</strong>, reflected in NPS feedback.</li><li>Enrollment, persistence, and graduation targets are consistently met or exceeded.</li><li>Strong faculty engagement, development, and retention, with low regrettable turnover.</li><li>Faculty consistently meet goals, grow professionally, and contribute to a culture of excellence and care.</li></ul>",
