In this role, you&rsquo;ll partner with sales teams, store leaders, and OEM partners (including Caterpillar) to drive growth, improve execution, and strengthen our market position.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">With 70+ years of industry leadership and a strong, people-first culture, this is an opportunity to shape programs that directly impact customers, sales teams, and long-term success.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">What Sets You Apart<br>You&rsquo;re someone who:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Thinks strategically but executes practically</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Builds trust quickly and communicates clearly</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Enjoys working across teams and influencing without direct authority</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Brings both analytical rigor and customer focus</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsibilities:<br>Sales Administrative Duties:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manages and distributes market share data.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Analyzes market share to assist Division Manager in identifying issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in development and maintenance of divisional key performance indicators.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participates in planning Customer Events and Shows with Stores, Marketing, and OEM partners.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports Butler Machinery&rsquo;s New Product Launches.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates with marketing department to ensure all sales marketing campaigns are in alignment with Division strategy.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports and guides teams in utilization of CRM system and Quote system.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts training and rides with new Sales Associates based on knowledge level</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Travels to the store locations on a regular basis to review current sales initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Administrates new machines merchandising sales programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works directly with OEM partner to resolve issues.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sales Support Duties:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists Stores with government bid proposals and quotes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinates the monthly updating of retail programs in quoting system.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists sales team with questions on retail programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists division manager with development and deployment of retail programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists inventory control with machine spec&rsquo;s and orders.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports the management of new inventory turns.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of Butler Machinery.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Qualifications:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of business experience, training and/or education required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good customer relations and communication skills &ndash; both written and verbal are essential.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Time management and presentation skills are required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Problem solving and decision-making skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of competitive machines is preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Construction industry experience is preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sales background preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Mechanical knowledge preferred</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">As a family business for three generations, we currently employ over 900 associates in 20 locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Nebraska.
