If the BLS is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), then AHA certification is due within three months of employment date.</li>\n  <li>Either NA1 or NA2 (if NA2 must maintain valid NA1 listing)<br/> <u>Nurse Aide I</u>: Listed with the Nurse Aide Registry at the NC Division of Facility Services. <br/><u>Nurse Aide II</u>: Listed with the Nurse Aide Registry at the NC Division of Facility Services and the NC Board of Nursing. <br/></li>\n </ul><b>Additional Requirements by Practice Area<br/></b>\n <ul>\n  <li><b>ED: </b>Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification within six months of employment date</li>\n  <li>Psychiatry: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification within three months of employment date and renewed at least bi-annually for the first year and annually thereafter.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b> Preferred:</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b><br/></b>\n</div>\n<div>\n Knowledge of medical terminology.
