Learn more about DEI at Seismic here.</strong>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Seismic is seeking a <strong>Senior Quality Engineer II – Performance Engineering</strong> to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a key member of the Quality Engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform by designing, building, and executing robust performance testing frameworks and strategies.</p>\n<p>You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, SRE, infrastructure, and delivery teams to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across our cloud‑native systems.</p>\n<h2>Who you are:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5–8 years of experience in performance testing / performance engineering</li>\n <li>Strong experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust, or similar</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of distributed systems and performance bottleneck analysis</li>\n <li>Experience with API performance testing (REST-based systems)Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>\n <li>Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Java, or similar)</li>\n <li>Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and quality engineering principles</li>\n <li>Good communication and collaboration skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you'll be doing:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement <strong>end-to-end performance testing strategies</strong> (load, stress, endurance, scalability)</li>\n <li>Build and maintain <strong>performance test frameworks and scripts</strong> using modern tools</li>\n <li>Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify <strong>bottlenecks, latency issues, and system constraints</strong></li>\n <li>Work across <strong>UI, APIs, backend services, and data stores</strong> to validate system performance</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to <strong>tune applications, infrastructure, and services</strong></li>\n <li>Integrate performance testing into <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> and release processes</li>\n <li>Monitor system performance using tools such as <strong>Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk</strong></li>\n <li>Troubleshoot issues across <strong>application, database, and infrastructure layers</strong></li>\n <li>Contribute to <strong>capacity planning, scalability design, and performance best practices</strong></li>\n <li>Continuously improve performance engineering practices and tooling</li>\n <li>Leverage <strong>AI-assisted tools</strong> to improve analysis, debugging, and test efficiency</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Posting Footer</h2>\n<p>If you are an individual with a disability and would like to request a reasonable accommodation as part of the application or recruiting process, please click here.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Headquartered in San Diego and with employees across the globe, Seismic is the global leader in sales <strong>enablement</strong>, backed by firms such as Permira, Ameriprise Financial, EDBI, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and T.
