More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.</p><p><strong>The MOMS Partnership</strong> Clinician is a mental health professional and member of the MOMS Clinical Team who delivers or co-delivers (with the MOMS Community Mental Health Ambassador or CMHA) MOMS programming. The MOMS Clinician provides participants with light-touch clinical support related to mental health and wellbeing, such as making referrals to additional support, if needed. If applicable, the MOMS Clinician takes the lead in screening potential participants for eligibility based on clinical eligibility criteria.&#160; &#160;</p><p><strong>&#160;</strong><strong>Position: MOMS Clinician</strong></p><p><strong>Reports To: MOM Clinical Supervisor</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Multiple Sites</strong></p><p><strong><u>What The MOMS Clinician Does:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Delivering/co-delivering the MOMS intervention(s), such as the MOMS Stress Management Course, typically in coordination with the CMHA.</li><li>Contributing to outreach/recruitment and engagement to support sufficient enrollment into the local MOMS program, such as conducting pre-intervention Engagement Sessions.</li><li>Conducting eligibility screening (if applicable) and consenting participants to enroll into the MOMS program, as needed.</li><li>Providing clinical triage and referral to additional services for MOMS participants, when needed.</li><li>Participating in weekly clinical team supervision led by the MOMS Clinical Supervisor.</li><li>Liaising with local site staff to provide coordination between the MOMS program and other activities/programs occurring within the site/organization.</li><li>Using an electronic data system to input and retrieve data and track/document screenings, assessments, attendance, and other program components.</li><li>Engaging with Elevate in MOMS training and regular meetings (such as, during set-up and implementation and evaluation activities).</li><li>Maintaining fidelity to the MOMS program model and providing information/data pertaining to fidelity assessment, as requested by Elevate.</li><li>Conducting other related tasks as necessary for MOMS program set up, implementation and evaluation.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Minimum Education/Experience Required:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Degree in <strong>social work, psychology, family therapy, counseling, or a related field</strong><strong>.</strong></li><li>Experience working as a therapist or mental health clinician with adults</li><li>Experience conducting standardized mental health assessments with adults</li><li>Experience providing manualized and/or group-based mental health treatments/programs</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competence skills</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and team-work skills; dependability and flexibility</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and aptitude for learning new computer-based applications/programs</li></ul><p><strong><u>Other Requirements (preferred):</u></strong></p><ul><li>State licensure to provide mental health treatment is strongly preferred</li><li>Experience working as a therapist/clinician in maternal mental health and/or parenting</li><li>Familiarity with principles/techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)</li><li>Experience working as part of a treatment team that includes non-clinical staff</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Compensation</strong>: $70k-$72k annually</p><p><strong>&#160;</strong><strong>Status: </strong>Full-time - Temporary (35 hours per week ending 01/31/2026)<br><strong>Benefits</strong>: CAMBA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays.</p><p>CAMBA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
