Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Complete Building Services—a Donohoe Company, is hiring <strong>HVAC Technicians</strong> in support of a large campus in <strong>Washington, DC</strong>. Our HVAC Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and  refrigeration systems across campus facilities. This role supports a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment through skilled mechanical, electrical, and control systems work. The HVAC technician plays a key role in ensuring the physical integrity of building systems and  responding to maintenance issues as needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Shift:</strong> First Shift</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p><strong>Hours:</strong> 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary</strong> $35.69-$43.26 per hour. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Oversee Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems, including: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Condensers, compressors, evaporators, motors, chillers, cooling towers</li>\n <li>Heat pumps, air handlers, fans, dampers, duct systems</li>\n <li>DX units, filters, valves, gear boxes, and associated piping</li>\n <li>Rebuild and repair both commercial and domestic refrigeration systems</li>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance and minor fabrication work as needed</li>\n <li>Assign Calibrate, adjust, repair, and operate pneumatic, electronic, and electrical controls.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic control systems.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with the building management systems (BMS) team to facilitate adjustments to</li>\n <li>system parameters including set points, schedules, and controller updates.</li>\n <li>Install or replace control boards and wiring related to HVAC operations</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling, reclaiming, and disposal.</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols when working with high-voltage systems or hazardous chemicals.</li>\n <li>Maintain service logs and documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards</li>\n <li>Respond promptly to urgent maintenance calls affecting HVAC or cooling systems.</li>\n <li>Provide support for after-hours issues as part of a rotating on-call team when needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to pass a background check to obtain site badge</li>\n <li>Experience with BMS systems and HVAC energy optimization strategies </li>\n <li>Ten (10) years experience working on commercial HVAC systems</li>\n <li>HVAC journeyman license preferred</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of local and federal HVAC regulations</li>\n <li>Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building management systems (BMS)</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and refrigeration equipment </li>\n <li>Facilities Maintenance, or related field preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to complete maintenance and basic troubleshooting </li>\n <li>EPA/CFC Refrigerant Handling Certification required</li>\n <li>Completed coursework in HVAC areas</li>\n <li>Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing systems</li>\n <li>Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment</li>\n <li>Valid driver's licens</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>EOE, including disability/veterans </p>\n<p> </p>",
